About the Initiative
Amritvarshini is a mission-driven cancer prevention campaign by Samarth Child and Women Welfare Society. This initiative is dedicated to protecting young girls and women from the risks of cervical and breast cancer through awareness, early detection, and preventive healthcare measures.
Through education, medical counseling, HPV vaccination drives, and community outreach, we aim to create a cancer-free future for women in India.
Why This Initiative Matters?
🔸 Cervical Cancer: Over 120,000 women in India are diagnosed annually, but vaccination and screenings can prevent it.
🔸 Breast Cancer: The most common cancer among Indian women. Early detection increases survival rates by over 90%.
🔸 Lack of Awareness & Access: Many women in India remain unaware of preventive measures and free screening opportunities.
With Amritvarshini, we aim to change this reality by ensuring every girl and woman gets the knowledge, medical support, and vaccination she needs.
